Try going here.....

http://www.opengl.org/users/downloads/index.html

Read the page thouroughly, and once you understand it, download the GLsetup proggy.
If you are missing the open GL components for some reason, this will fix it.

Hope that helps.

Cheers

NOTE:

Your "Cant start OpenGL subsystem" is due to your openGL already being in use, thats either a flaw with OpenGL or the game, either way, just 3finger kill programs running on your computer and retry starting the game after each kill til you find which one is causing the conflict. Maybe this what will solve your problem, i found that ZoneAlarm Pro 3.0 took away my OpenGL so now i have to shutdown ZAP3.0 to play the game.

Woohoo! MOHAA now works on my system.

I have nvidia GeForceII 400 MX 64 mb, Intel P4 1.6 gig, SBPCI128, and windows XP home edition.

I just downloaded and installed the DETONATOR XP drivers I got from www.nvidia.com (subsection: download drivers, subsection: Windows XP/2000).

Apparently... the latest version of that driver is not yet microsoft certified. But since several previous versions of DETONATOR XP have obtained the certification... I decided to try it.

MOHAA works! and rules :O).

The voodoo3 2000 dosent work with windowsxp and medal of honor, because windowsxp dosent have any drivers for openGL.
The game need at list 32mb for video.
if u have the voodoo card u need the drivers for wimdowsxp http://www.ntcompatible.com/3dfxfaq.shtml

hey im having the same prob as all these ppl as im sure millions and millions are having who own windows XP. Ive searched the web and the constant complaints point to windows XP being the problem. Windows 95 and 98 only have to go to that site that has glsetup.exe to fix it but for ME and XP i still havnt found a solution.

My comp specs are:
Pentium III 1.1ghz
256 RAM
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 2 GTS 32MB
System: Windows XP

If anyone knows how to fix this problem that everyone is having PLEASE help. The only solution i see right now is uninstall XP and run windows 98, thats it. or install windows 98 with XP.

Ensure you have uninstalled your previous graphics card drivers from "Add/Remove Programs" otherwise the new drivers will not be installed properly

could not load opengl subsystem
SOLUTION!!!!!!!!!!
1 download 23.11 driver from nvidia
2 install driver, do not remove old graphics driver, and let it restart
3 the game should start but runs realllly slow
4 go to control panal - display properties - advanced display properties - hardware accelaration, then reduce it to 75% from 100%
5 let the computer restart and the game should run .
p.s i also downloaded detenator xp driver and installed it but i don't think it made any difference
pps i'm using win95 with geforce 2

good luck

Answer to all your problems:
Those of you with "newer" (what this actually means in computer terms is past year or so) Upgrade the drivers, try www.driverguide.com or your manufactuer's web site. Those of you with Voodoo, sorry your pretty much sh*t outta luck, Voodoo is no longer in existence, yer probably gonna have to buy a new video card, same as the rest of you with the older cards, or try downgrading to Windows 98/ME... OR Do a Dual install: you may need to totally remove Windows XP (not sure) install ME/98/98Se then use the upgrade of XP and when it asks you to install a FULL install or to UPGRADE your current version of Windows choose FULL install, this will cause your computer to have a Boot Menu and when you wanna play games select Windows ME/98/98Se and for anything else use Windows XP... This worked for me untill ATI released the update for my Radeon card. Hope this helps. Also, ALOT of todays games use the same "game engine" the Quake 3 engine, which means they are all basically the same as far as how they run and use Open GL, so if your having a problem with Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault (which is prolly the best game today) you will have problems with alot of the other newer games.
