Hi..Hope someone can help.

When I click on the Start on bottom left corner, and then All Programs, I only get One column of programs and have to scroll down and down until I find the program I need..sometimes it's right at the bottom of the list.

The list no longer expands to two or three columns.

Can anyone help me with a solution to this..

Thanks in advance to all who take the time to reply.

The best way is to organize your programs into different folders. For example create a games folder and put shortcuts to all your games in it. Then the 'games' folder will show in the first column and when you hover the cursor over it, all the games will show up in the second column. You could even break up the games into different types to make a third column.

(Edit) Or if you prefer to have your programs in alphabetic order, you could make the folders in the first column sections of the alphabet. For example A-E, F-M, N-S, and T-Z. Then put the shortcuts to the programs in the folder where they belong.

The Start menu is just like any other folder on the system. It can be found at c:/documents and settings/your user name/Start menu. So you can work on it like you would any normal folder.

jmarch777, Right click your Start button, choose Properties, under the Start Menu tab click the Customize button, under the Advanced tab "Start Menu Items:" uncheck "Scroll Programs", click OK/Apply/OK.
