Specs: win xp home sp2, 2.60gnz-244mb
on trying to download things to my system from the web i keep noticing a no entry sign at foot of page when i access it i am told port i am using is closed and no connections are getting through. i ran a port scanner and was told all ports i can think of are closed. tried port forward site but i only use a virgin media modem call 255 with an Ethernet connection.windows firewall off and ashampoo firewall free edition working in it's place. problem occurred since re-installing my system due to an agressive hoard of Trojans which beat my firewall and anti-virus 800+ in total. any help would be appreciated. thanks
