Specs: Windows XP
I was tryong to send all piictures in my computer to a folder
The icon my pictures was on my desktop
After I had done a search I selected all- Then thinking that if I did a send to desktop it would show options on destop I>E> my pictures
Instead all my pictures wound up on desktop
Must I remov them one at a time?
Or is there some type of undo?
Hope this is clear enough to understand my problem

Right click on the desktop & create a folder, then give it a name. Move all the pics into the folder, then move the folder. Do you know how to drag/drop or copy/paste? Do you know how to use the Shift or Ctrl key to tag & move numerous files at once?

I did a system restore to remove them from desktop but I still have a problem

Yes I know how to drag drop and paste I don't know how to use Ctrl key to select numerous files

I did create desktop folder- The problem I have now is I get "cannot read source file or disk" these pictures were originally on a disk that I cannot find. I want to save them to a disk to use with another computer
But I'm afraid if they can't be moved or copied to folder that I'm stuck with being able to view them on this computer only

✔ Best Answer
While holding the CTRL key click each file in succession and you will note that each one becomes highlighted. Once you have achieved that you can select one file and drag and drop... all the files you have highlighted in this manner will follow at the same time.
