Hello everybody

I am hopingsomebody can help me. i am having massive problems with my broadband at home. I cant install my alcatel speedtouch usb modem on to my packard bell pc.

the computer installs the modem but it says it cannot install speedtouch networking support. In device manager it says that there is a code 28 error. i have tried installing the software again and again.

When i originally got broadband i had to download a freefix patch from freeserve to get the modem working on packard bell. i have dont that and still nothing.

my modem says that it is not plugged in although both lights are green on the modem.

i have tried everything i can think off so can somebody please help me

cheers

i looked up the "code 28" error and, what u have to do is install the most recent service pack according to Microsoft. try this out, and let me know how it turns out
