Okay. This has been puzzling me for weeks now and I just can't figure out what is wrong. I am a rabid AOL Instant Messenger user, and just in the past, month probably less I have had some problems with it. I have not upgraded it, it's been the same since I got my computer in September. Every so often, when I open my buddy list and then click on the "X" to put it in my system tray, I get the Blue Screen of Death and see the error message "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA" and the error is with win32k.sys. It also does this when AIM plays some type of "Ghost ad" upon opening my buddy list. It always seems to be a movie trailer or something. I cannot see it, but I sure can hear it. Then, as usual when I go to minimize to my system tray, I get the error. This is always unavoidable after one of those ads plays and it's getting quite tiresome. If anybody can help me I would appreciate it.
