agp440.sys problem

i have a HP NC6000 and its stuck on agp.sys on safemode and wont start normally i tried each and every thing provided on this site and others but still the same problem and installing windows four times every time i install windows frist start of the windows is normal but when i restart the laptop day after installation its stuck on the same position kindly have attention on it and kindly provide the real solution thanks

go into the bios and tell system to use the PCI video and not the AGP video. if you do not know how, reply and will try to help.

As I recall, the problem is not with agp440.sys, it's the next process on the list that's causing the system to lock up. The fact that agp440.sys is shown on the screen means that it has successfully loaded.

What Jam said, review the windows log files.

thanks for all the help but now on the another problem " krnl386.exe" setup stuck on there and then error occurs ( file not found setupdd.sys code : 4 now what to do
