I am using the new omegas for my ati radeon 9800 pro 128 but I am having one problem im not sure if it is related to them or something else.

Does anyone know why when I try to set my agp to 8x with SMARTGART and it is set to enabled in bios but when i use SMARTGART or the SMARTGART tab with the omegas and set it to 8x and reboot it goes back to off. why won't it stay at 8x?

Also I have the agp set to 1.7v because I heart they needed a bit more power then the default 1.5 and 1.6

Did you unistall the old ATI drivers prior to installing the current drivers? That is the correct proceedure according to ATI. Additionally, you may need to remove the the AGP driver. ATI has a removal tool for the catalyst and the AGP drivers (gart). You can find those removal tools (maintenence utilities) here: http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/misc/catalystutils.html
they are called cat-uninstaller.exe & smartgart-uninstalI.exe
Also I woul recommend using default voltages to start and only increasing if needed.
