Hi, Can anyone tell me if it is possible to put an AGP 8X graphics card into a AGP 2X/4X motherboard? And vice versa (put AGP 2X/4X video card into an AGP 8X motherboard)? I vaguely remember reading an article in a PC magazine saying that if you did one of these (and I don't remember which one it was), you would fry the card or motherboard because of the voltage differences each AGP uses. Thanks.

Hm, a google search & my local computer retailer tells me that there is no problem with putting an 8X card into a 4X slot (the performance hit is only very minor). Anyone know about the other way (4X card into an 8X slot)?
