After xp sp2 dvd burner not working

After installing xp sp2 my dvd burner will no longer work using clone dvd 2 or Nero.
It looks like it no longer see's valid media.
I uninstalled sp2 and it works fine again.
Does anyone have a solution. I would like to re-install sp2.

Solution is: Leave SP2 alone until it's been sorted out and 95% of folk say mmmm ok it's working now. Wolfey

have you tried uninstalling your burning software, and installing sp2 and then reinstalling the burner software? My Nero 6 ultra was not in any way effected by sp2...so that is what i would try or as mentioned above

My DVD Burner worked OK with SP2 also. Go here and get the latest version of Nero which has been updated for SP2...

I would go with wombats advice.With anything new, theres always problems.Nero 6 ultra has a compat issue with sp2, you can get the patch from the nero website.
