Comment:

My PC was shutdown cleanly lasy night, but this morning I get a warninga t boot time indicating that the 'C:\windows\system32\drivers\afd.sys file' is missing or corrupt and to run chkdsk.

I run chkdsk with the /f option and it duly deleted the index entries for this file.

Upon reboot I discover that my networking is not working.

Anyone know if it is possible to reinstall this file without having to reinstall the whole OS ?

Thanks

Ian P
