Hi Whendee, First, Go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall New.net.

Then, Run HT again and check the following items. Doublecheck so as to be sure not to miss one.
Next, close all browser Windows, and have HT fix all checked.

You NEED to restart your computer when you're done.

Hi Tom41,

Thank you so much for your help!! I think I have the problem solved except for the two files you told me to remove:
C:\WINDOWS\System\WinStart001.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System\WINSTA~1.exe
I couldn't seem to find them. Could you please direct me in finding these two files on my system?
Thank you!!

Hi Whendee, Make sure you are able to view hidden files and folders.
Open any folder and click Tools > Folder Options > View tab. Select 'Show hidden files and folders' and apply/ok.

Then either do a search for them or navigate to C:\Windows\System and look for them.

If you still can't locate them, check to see if PC-cillin quarantined them.
