Adwareis broken

CPU/Ram: pent 4 2.93Ghz

Hi im trying to fix my freinds computer and to be honest im lost i was doing the usualy disk defragging it and running adware, and a virus scanner called bitdefender but when i went to run adware adware keeps freezeing everything else worked fine adware is a fresh copy as well

The problem witht eh pc to begin with is that when it was on the web browseing pages the pc would freeze up please help

Could just be a heat problem.

Uninstall adaware and reinstall it.

... or maybe there's just way to much malware on the system. Ad-Aware can bog down and freeze in those situations.

Try deleting the Temporary Internet Files from 'Internet Options', then run CCleaner.

Restart in Safe Mode and then try scanning with Ad-aware

It'd be a good idea to update the Ad-aware definitions first, but that may be problematic if you're experiencing problems connecting

If you get people asking the wrong questions, you don't have to worry about the answers
