Used Ad-ware6.0 to custom scan and remove all ad-ware on my computer, but after reboot 23 new items appeared. I deleted these using Ad-ware6.0, but they re-appeared on reboot. Checked startup file, but see no problem there. Loaded hijackthis, but still not sure what is causing ad-ware to re-install after reboot. Any suggestions.

Some adware tend to work like a Keylogger. Somewhere in your drive you'll have the adware, you'll remove it and at startup, it will be in another directory, which it'll will copy it'self from to the directory where you deleted it.
Have you checked to see if the Adware is showing in the Msconfig?
Start>Run>Msconfig 1)If it is disable it 2)delete them from the filepaths shown in Msconfig. 3) Check for copy's of these files using a search of the HD
If it keeps showing after reboot. I dunno what to suggest.

Download spybot-search and destroy. It has an immunize button that will stop the adware from reappearing on reboot. There are many places where you can download it - I did it from www.pcworld.com

I was able to remove the remaining ad-ware after I found and removed a nasty file called msupdater.exe in my system and then followed up with Cool Web Shredder v1.21.1, Ad-ware6.0, and Spybot. Thank you Drayline and marty525 for your help.
