There must be a way to set the default paper size in Adobe Reader so that it automatically prints to that size everytime we open up a new document. The closest I could get was to go to print setup and select 11x17, but everytime I opened a new document, it reverted back to 8.5x11. Can this be fixed?

AFAIK only the paid version of Adobe Acrobat Reader has user options that you can set in place permanently. Alternatively try Foxit

From Adobe Help: "Print Settings are preserved only as long as the Adobe PDF document is open. To use the settings again, you can save them in a file."
To save a print settings file:
1. In the Advanced Print Setup dialog box, Click Save As
2. Specify a filename and click OK. Print settings are save as .spf files.Life is more painless for those who are brainless.

I'm afraid I couldn't find that option. There is no "save as" option under the advanced print setup dialog box. I couldn't find it in either the "print setup" option under the file menu, or after clicking "advanced" on the print dialog box. I'm using Adobe Reader 8, the latest one.
