unable to load adobe 7.1 with mozzila loads then drops out ok with ie any suggestions thanks

when attemting to load pdf the following message
"cannot use adobe reader to view pdf in your web browser.reader will now exit.please press the refresh button in your browser to start"

press the refresh returns the same message

Not the answer you seek but have you tried the alternative being Foxit Reader. It is very fast and free.
