Specs: Windows XP

I try to install adobe flash player 10. It downloads and shows that it is installing, but when I look on control panel (add/remove menu) adobe reader is empty. Only the icon and date installed is visible.

Thank you

Adobe flash player(display flash contents) and adobe reader(read .Pdf files) are two differents applications.
Install adobe reader or foxit reader.

Look at what you wrote for the subject line of your post - "Adobe Reader does not install". Then in the body of the post you mentioned flash player AND reader. We have no idea which one you're asking about. Next time, proofread your post before submitting it.

When you install Flash, make sure you don't accept any of the garbage software that's packaged with it. There will be a couple of popup screens you will have to click on. If I remember correctly, you have to "accept", then "install", then "finish". Did you go thru all those steps?

I just looked at my "Add or Remove" menu & I have:

Adobe Flash Player 10 ActiveX
Adobe Flash Player 10 Plugin
Adobe Reader X
Adobe Shockwave Player 11.5
