Solved adobe reader acrord32.exe application error

Specs: Windows XP
Adobe Reader: AcroRd32.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x896ebad5" referenced memory at "0x896ebad5". The memory could not be "written".

Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program

No matter I clicked OK or cancel, the program still end!

Uninstall Adobe Reader, then reinstall it - that should correct the problem. Or you can uninstall it & use Foxit Reader instead.

Stay out of the registry. You aren't going to get memory errors from a bad registry entry and you could end up doing more damage than good.

Do what Mickliq suggests, uninstall then reinstall.

Uninstall it and keep it off. Malware developers love to target Adobe Reader and Flash because they're so vulnerable. Adobe tries to keep up by regularly updating it, but save yourself the annoyance and stick with Foxit Reader free.
