Comment:

I recently downloaded and installed adobe reader 7.0 onto my winxp pro system. When I try and open control panel, reader 7.0 opens instead, and I get an error message that "this is not a valid pdf file".. and mentions an error with rundll.exe. Therefore I could not even uninstall it from there. Eventually had to do a system restore in safe mode.

How can I install a pdf reader without this problem ?
Has anyone else had a similar problem ?
thanks
