I got this error along with this error I couldn't connect tot he internet. I disabled all active x and it worked no more error, I went back in and enabled it and still no error only I still can't connect to the internet. It tries to connect it shows me the address on the title bar.. I ran norton..no virus,I ran adaware..nothing. I unistalled and reinstalled Adobe... still no internet.
I am taking a class that requires me to upload presentations online, before I upload I view them in a browser and I always have to click a yellow bar to allow active x. Is this part of my problem??

Thank you
Kellie

Kellie -
very confusing - set your active x settings to prompt, if you enable them it is easier for adware/spyware to get onto your system -
What is it you are trying to access and what errors are you getting? if adobe is not loading a pdf inside of IE, remove all versions of adobe reader, and install the latest, go through the settings and make sure adobe is configured into IE - you can configure adobe to open up another windows, or just load it into the current windows -
"I still can't connect to the internet"
can you just not access something on the internet? or you dont have internet access at all?

yup!

I have access. I am on my desktop right now. I first got the adobe ie error tring to get on Internet Explorer, only none of my browsers are working. It just shows a blank page and the address at the top so it does reconize the site it should be connecting to only it never connects.

It was a ram problem... I was running to many programs at start up.. I have 2 sticks of 256 each... seems like enough to me but that was the problem.... FYI in case anyone else runs into this. I will now be upgrading.
