I am running firefox 3.0.5. I loaded Adobe Flash Player 10 plugin and I cannot get it to work on Firefox. After doing a debug it is working on Explorer. I have tried uninstalling ect ect. Cleaning out cache. On my husbands computer it is working great in Firefox but he has Adobe Flash Player 9 activex installed. He also has the 10 plugin. I tried looking everywhere to install the activex separately but no luck just the old 9 version plugin download. There is no debug for Mozilla and I did download the Mozilla version. Any ideas because I am running out ones. Keep it simple so I don't get a braincramp....lol

Thanks
Teabag

the plugin for firefox/opera/etc. is different than the flash install for IE...it'll download a file which you need to run, once you do the plugin should be installed for firefox...hope that helps..

Good Luck

Sorry I have downloaded the mozilla one several times and it just will work Explorer. It is like it is only downloading the Explorer version period even though it shows as the Mozilla version. Now when I go into Explorer the Adobe website just keeps freezing. Have shutdown. Restarted and Adobe websites now will only open in firefox. I am now really clueless. Why will the Adobe sites no longer open in Explorer???

Thanks

for IE go here with IE:

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?p...

for firefox goto the same place with FIREFOX

adobe senses your browser and for IE installs it and for firefox downloads a file which you must run

Good Luck

Adobe sites freeze on Explorer. I checked it on my other computer and it freezes on there as well. Also in searching on the net I found other IE7 users having the same problem accessing Adobe. The flashplayer works in IE it will not work in firefox and I have downloaded the Foxfire plugin. But it only works on IE. Now I can only download on Firefox anyways

Thanks

I know this seems nuts but you have to put your computer on a higher resolution in order to access the Adobe site on IE7. I had to put it on 1280 by 768 then you can access Adobe on IE7. If you are running a lower resolution the site will not allow you access. With that being said I still cannot get the Adobe Flashplayer to run on Firefox. Having downloaded it for Mozilla browser several times it just doesn't work.

Thanks

teabag,

I was having this problem too for months and today I discovered that the problem was with my Firefox profile. Here's what you need to do:

1) Open up "Run" and enter: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Extensions

2) Create a new folder named Plugins in the Extensions folder

3) Now open up C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash

4) Copy & paste NPSWF32.dll and flashplayer.xpt into the Plugins folder

5) Restart Firefox. Adobe Flash Player 9 (or greater) should work fine now.
