Comment:

I have an ASUS P5Q Deluxe with a Quad Core Q6600 2.4 GHz with 4.00 GB of PC 8500 DDR2 RAM and a Visiontek 4870 Video Card. I also have Windows XP Professional 32 Bit. Now, I have Adobe CS4 and the program seems to be very laggy. It still works and I can work with Adobe CS4, but for some reason, its not taking advantage of my 200 dollar ATI Video card and as a result, its behaving very slow, at startup and when working, its not quite fast.

Now, how do I configure Adobe CS4 into taking advantage of my GPU in my 4870 ATI 200 dollar video card instead of taking up 1 of my 4 cores of my CPU which makes the program slow and laggy?

Basically, how do I make Adobe CS4 run faster than it is now? Must I get a ATI Fireball or an NVIDIA Quadro for this?

Have you looked on Adobe's support site?
