Administrator User Account is not showing up

October 13, 2010 at 13:16:31
Specs: Windows XP
Okay, last night when i was on my computer I was on the Adminstrator user acount, during the day/night I leave my computer on and just turn on the monitor. Today I went to work and came back and when the welcome screen came up the Administrator user account wasn't there. There are two other accounts on this computer, one is computer admin and the other one is the guest user account. When i searched for my files it shows that they're all still there but the Admin account just isnt showing up on the welcome screen to allow me to log on to it.

It is normal for the administator account not to show up on the welcome screen when you have other accounts. This is how you get it to appear

To access the admin account at the welcome screen do a couple of control alt deletes until you get the logon box

By default the Administrator and Guest account do not appear in the welcome screen. I believe there is a setting that will enable this. If the welcome screen is disabled you can login with these accounts in the login dialog. While at the welcome screen you can press Ctrl-Alt-Del 3 times to open the dialog.
