I accidentally deleted my administrators account in the regedit, and now my computer says that I don't have any account at all although I could still access my computer using my "Eagle" account in which although it is an administrator account, but unfortunately windows could not recognize it as a user, I think it is really weird cause I could still log on to the computer using that account, but when I go to control-panel, user accounts, windows xp says that current user account is not recognized, please restart the computer and then try again, but when I restart the computer, it did not work.

Anyone has a solution toward that problem? If not, could anyone a blank administrator key to me (or the binary data in that administrator key is fine, I don't want to reinstall my whole system again!) It is under
HKLM\Sam\Sam\Domains\Account\Users, you have to set the permission first in order to get there, and under Names, you should see administrator, and could anyone send me the corresponding key for example 000003EA, (I mean, if the administrator account is the 1st one under names, then the corresponding key is the 1st one under Users.) Or another solution toward this problem is very very good, I appreciate that.

Thank you very much,

GoCalc

You may be hosed on this one, but a possible solution is to use the System Restore feature of XP - you may need to boot into safe mode, or even use the recovery console.
