Hi. How can i run msconfig if i am not logged on as admin? I can't use the right click and "run as" trick because i know msconfig is run through the start menu, unlessfrom elsewhere! Any other way? Thanx!

Nevermind, i found msconfig in a folder and run it with "run as" but i am having the same difficulty with explorer. How can i run windows explorer as admin so i can delete files? It doesnt let me run it with the "run as" command! Any ideas?

The only time someone should log in as Administrator is when they are performing maintenance as you are wanting.

So, when wanting to perform maintenance simply log in as Administrator in Safe Mode.
When done log out and log back in as User.

Run As is designed for use on a single task versus a maintenance regiment.

How to Run certain applications as Admin Rights when in User mode ? like Windows Update and Norton live update etc... Thanks

Any place to set them ?
