admin password help

Recently ive tried to repair winxp home by using the os cd, however it asks for an admin password, this password seems to be totally diffrent then the password i setup in my bios and under my admin windows account, i have also set up the default admin password which is accessed via safemode, what password is it actually looking for?

Ocarinaman, Unless you changed the Admin Password in Windows XP Home it there would be no password.
Have you tried booting into Safe mode ?
Turn off Computer and turn it back on and as soon as it kicks back up start taping the F8 key until you get the advance boot menu and select safe mode. when it loads the welcome screen you will be able to verify if the Admin password has a password or not. If you click on the Administrator account and it logged you on then there is no password.
