Dear Group:
I want the Admin Logon to show when I start up XP Pro. I know about using 'ctrl+alt+del' twice but I would like to see the Admin Logon with my logon.
Is this possible?
Thanks!
wayne

You will only ever get the 'Administrator' logon in Safe mode.
This is reserved for emergency use only as far as I know.

Hi Wayne
The Administrator will show at the welcome screen, until you create a second user, and make him part of the admin group too. Then the user administrator is hidden.
To "unhide" :
Start the Registry Editor (remember the registry is a dangerous place so always double check before you change things)
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon \ SpecialAccounts \ UserList \
Right-click an empty space in the right pane and select New > DWORD Value
Name the new value exactly as the Username (in this case Administrator)
Make the value data 1 to show user
Make the Value data 0 to hide userClose the registry editor and restart.
Hope this helps ;)
