Adjusting Virtual Memory

CPU/Ram: 512 ram

Hi, im running win xp
i have 512 ram.
now i want to change my virtual memory seems to be really low i just need adivce on what to change it to this is what its set to now

Initial Size(MB): 288
Max Size(MB) 576
Minimum allowed 2mb
Reccomended: 669mb
Currently allocated: 288 mb

iver never touched this before. but ive been getting low virtual memory symbol, i recently updated my ram from 256-512 so could somone suggest what/or if i should change its size ty

the recommended settings are:

initial size: 1.5x phys memory (512 x 1.5 = 768)

maximum size: 3x phys memory (512 x 3 = 1536)

There are two things that XP frown on - memory & IRQ. Try to tweak with them and you will end up with a forever-pis*ed off Windows.
