whenever i type a letter into the address bar i get listings for sites i went to a long time ago. i have cleared my history and they are still their. i was wondering if their was a way to get rid of it

You have only cleared the history.! Try internet explorer settings, cnntent, auto complete, and disable from there.

You can never know to much!

Start/Run Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

Delete all entries

Try to clear everything. History, cookies...delete internet temp files. This is a wierd problem though. Are the sites in the list..porn sites? You may want to try a spy wares scan.

i disabled auto complete but now it wont remember the last site i went to. i want it to remember the last site but i dont want it to remember sites from 2 months ago. it is weird because it is like amazon.com.
