Hi. I deleted a game off my computer, but for some reason its still in my programs list. Does anyone know how i can remove it from the programs list.
-I deleted the games specific folder in the program files folder.
Any help would be appreciated.-pharsti

Before doing this, I would recommend you create a System Restore point in case anything goes wrong.
The programs uninstall list is stored in the following key in the system registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> CurrentVersion -> Uninstall
If you have a look through those keys at the DisplayName of each you should see the name of your game displayed in one of them. If so, just delete the key by selecting it in the left-hand pane and pressing Delete.
However, if you deleted the game manually there's a big chance that you left behind some orphaned files on your hard disk and orphaned keys in your registry. The best thing to do would be to get a registry cleaning tool. Then, run one of the many hard disk clean-up utilities.
I hope this helps,
James

And in the future do not just delete a games folder, either use the uninstall function that comes with the game, or remove it from Add/Remove programs.
Some people are like Slinkies™, not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...
