Hello,
I'm having a problem with my Add/Remove Hardware utility: the Change/Remove button doesn't show anymore and I can't delete some useless programs anymore! Does anyone know why? (if it can help, I recently changed my computer's skin and my cursor's icon... and my hard drive is nearly full)
Thank you,
Cristallerine

Another thing I notice that is taking up space is EVENT VIEWER logs. Go into EV then right click each catagory, then click "Clear all events".

If you know the programs are useless just go into the program files directory, locate them and delete them, Before you do this, make sure if they are listed in your start menu, they may have their own uninstall prog.

What OS are you running? 98? ME? XP?

Thanks for the answers!
Way2kajun, I tried to do this for some programs, but for some of them their folders have some weird stuff in it and are often filled with bugs... Can I be sure the program will be completely removed from my computer by simply deleting its folder?
Sorry for the inconvenience my OS is XP (I didn't know what an OS was, how about a CPU/Ram?)

Right click My Computer,
then Properties,
at bottom right is your processor(CPU) type and speed, and how much RAM memory you have.

If you cannot remove them through Control Panel, then no, you cannot be sure it's totally gone.

The best thing to do is download something like TWEAK-XP (30 day free trial last time I looked) which has a "Tidy Add/Remove" function, use this function to remove unwanted programs and any registry entries they may have left behind.
