I had posted a thread @ the games forum and was wondering if someone here could help me with it as well.
This is an indulgence on my part since it not directly XP related. You can reply here or there.

Sorry, don't have it, but you'll probably be deluged with copies.
Also sorry, I can't grant you an indulgence since I am not the Pope. LOL

The deluge is yet to materialize, I hope I don't have to visit the Holy See before the file starts trickling in. ;~)

Used the TURBO10 Search engine and entered "AOM won't start" and hit on a semblance of your problem. I'm not a gamer so don't know the ins and outs, but their theory was to download the trial version and get the file from there. At 136megs seems like a lot of work for one file but to gamers maybe not. Probably not much help.

It worked like a charm and am grateful.I thought I had covered the web looking for it, how wrong I was.
For the most part Google & Dogpile have been my most consulted engines, now I know that is a bias on my part and will @ at least use Web Ferret too.
Which brings me to the question..."what is the best search engine in terms of search criteria, span and result ?
Sabertooth.

I'm also a Google fan but if you don't find a solution in the first few pages it tends to wander, especially on a multi-word query. I use Web Ferret usually as a last resort but usually can find what I'm after. I think Web Ferret is best but is not real user friendly. I think it's more a matter of choice.
