Would adding another 256mb ddr ram pc2100 increase my preformance of my PC alot?
Depends on what kind of (and how many at one time)programs you run. Might and then again it might not. If all you do is 'routine' stuff (email, web surfing, word processing, and less complex games) probably won't make any great improvement. But RAM is now cheap, so if you have extra cash that you don't know what to do with, give it a try.

In my opinion, if you're thinking of adding another 256 MB of RAM to make your total 512 MB, go for it. Try to make sure you pick out the same RAM (brand and type) you already have in your system (not absolutely necessary, but at least you will know it should work/ or is compatible).
