Added a DVD drive as slave.now have CDRom as master and DVD as slave.Problem, need to boot from DVD,when I hit F2 to go to boot sequence to change, there is no DVD drive listed, just the CD,HD and floppy. How do I add the DVD device to the boot sequence in order to boot from it.I have used the device for 2 mnths now and it works fine, not sure why the system didnt add it to the sequence when it saw the drivers.

most likely you can boot from the DVD. The Bios probably calls out all optical drives CDROM. Whether windows has the drivers for the DVD drive has no bearing on the drive being bootable since it's the BIOS that controls the first stages of the boot process.

I already burned an ISO image to DVD of SUSE LINUX.It should start at bootup but the DVD ROM reads it then continues normal bootup of XP.IF I burn a CD image it works but that is a seperate drive and it also uses up 6 discs as opposed to 1 for the DVD.Maybe revers master slave settings on the 2 drives?
