I am trying to find out a cure for all my people who are infected with spyware. I would say to download trusted spyware software such as... Ad-Aware, Spybot-Search & Destroy, Spy Sweeper and scan your pc and delete the spyware they pick up.

Then disconnect from the internet and run your spyware programs again to be sure your system is "clean".

Dont use Internet Explorer use Mozilla Firefox

Install a firewall(make sure to check up on what programs want access to the internet) + Antivirus program

***All i need to find is a spyware firewall! a program wich blocks spyware!***

Ok Alex, I'll take agitated person for $800.

Seriously if you run spybot S&D it has a imunize feature. It won't block everything but it's a step in the right direction. There are other programs that hum along in the background doing thier thing to help block ad/spyware. Like the guys here say> Google is your friend.
BUT
You are the greatest weapon you have. Be mindful of what you download. Choose where you go with thought before hand. Don't open junk mail is another one. A good antiviral program is an absolute must. And chatrooms are a total waste. IM's are a pipeline to the inner workings of your computer. When some dweeb sends a command to knock you offline you can bet your bippy there's something sitting on your hard drive.
In the real world the price of peace is eternal vigalance. Same holds true for the internet...

I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid...

My conclusion is....

Get a GOOD Antivirus program
Get a GOOD firewall
Use Spyware removal tools
Watch where you go and things you download
stay away from Chat lines

UPDATE every day and use your brain :D

Just a quick question here:

Ok, so you think that if you download a file with Internet Explorer, and it's spyware, then if you download the EXACT SAME file again with Mozilla/Mozilla Firefox/Netscape/Opera, it's suddenly not spyware any more?

1. panda antivirus titanium 2005
2. zonealarm newest version (firewall)
3. ace utilities (cleans junk and reg files)
4. spyhunter 2 (spy/adware)
5. run disk cleanup (everytime you get off the net)

i use all these and have a spy/adware free computer. i can download viruses on purpose just because i know that my software can neutralize it. my computer has been bullet proof for about a year and a half now. my homepage never gets changed either. thanks...

Disable Java & ActiveX. If a site requires them, then sod em, go somewhere else.
