I have the free version of AdAware. The paid version has the feature that puts it on the context menu. I put it on the context menu and if I right-click on a folder it opens up the program. I want to know how to make the settings so it will automatically SCAN THE FOLDER like a "Scan with Anti Virus" type scan.

Does this require certain dlls?
Any one know how?

I didn't know the paid for version had that ability - but nevertheless it seems pointless to me as AdAware needs to scan the whole computer inc the registry to find spyware.

I'd leave it as it is !!
