Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System\Shutdown]
"ShowHibernateButton"=dword:00000001

You might want to rethink this action.

Windows XP does not really care for hibernation and will cause major issues because of it. This is an iffy sittuation as some computers work alright for it but most do not and most users turn hibernation off.

@ mebadboy

At the Shutdown options,
Standby, Turn Off, and Restart,
hold down the SHIFT key, then you will see Standby change to
Hibernate.

I agree with lurkswithin. It's best not to use hibernate (or standby), especially if it's a desktop PC.
