I want to add a Standard 33600bps modem. When I try, I only get 2 choices.
Communication cable beteween 2 computers or
Parallel cable between 2 computers
How do I re-add all of the other "Standard xxxxxbps modem" listings?

Thank you for your respones. This is an external Multi-Tech modem which I normally install using the "Standard 33600bps modem' driver.

go to device manager, and find the entry for the modem. right click and choose remove.
Restart the computer and see if XP detects the modem, and auto installs it. Do you have the drivers on a floopy or cd if needed?
"This is an external Multi-Tech modem", does it have a model #?
Do you see your modem in this list?
