My defs are 16 days old and the program is reminding me to get updates. But when I connect to get them it states there are no new updates available. Is any one else getting this responce from Lavasoft?

I may be crazy, but I'm not stupid...

Oh Yeah I think they stopped supporting regular Adaware since they released Adaware SE.

That's the one from Lavasofts website. I think they automatically update the file themselves.

I get the same message as you Setishock and have the same date on my defs.

A bit strange since Spybot S&D has updated theirs.

It's been doing the same thing with my Ad-AwareSE for a couple of days. I did the zip download but it's the same definition I already have.

It appears to be a splashscreen to remind you to "check for updates". Personally, I think it is a pain in the ass.
You can stop that screen from popping up at every single start-up... click the "gear" symbol up top; then remove the "tick mark" from "definitions".
Even if you were to leave that tick mark there, I doubt that Adaware S.E. updates all by itself anyways; but I am not positive so somebody correct me if I am wrong.
With that tick mark removed, you wont get hounded with that annoying splashscreen any more; just remember to manually check for updated definitions at regular intervals.
Hope this helps..
Enjoy your weekend everyone..

I miss my friends here so going cold turkey just was not working. I'll be floating in and out. More in than out I would assume...

After all that, a new definition file is available.
