Ok here's one for you... I have an Adaptec 3200S Ultra 160 RAID with 4 10,000RPM U160 SCSI drives. I had this set up on my old system (MSI Mobo, Athlon 550) and I got transfer rates of about 120MB/sec. I have since upgraded to a new Mobo and Processor (Pc Chips 817, XP1600) now I only get transfer rates of about 16MB/sec. The Mobo and processor are the only things different. On my old Mobo the RAID card would boot up before WinXP, on my new one it does not, is this my problem if so how do I fix it? I need the high speed transfer rate for all the video editing I do.

Did you reinstall the OS, or just swap boards and pretend everything is supposed to work? Have you tried reinstalling the drivers for the card? Anything showing up in your Event Viewer?
