ActiveX startup Problem

OS: xp home
CPU/Ram: Pentium 4 1.67GHz 512RAM
Comment:

whenever i start my computer, after my startup programs load i get an error message:

ActiveX component can not create object
SRC:Microsoft VBScript runtime error
Line: 6 Error: 0 Scode:800a01ad

i run xp home edition
any help would be great!

1ST go to add/remove programs and remove the visual basic programs that you have tried to install. Then go to MS and download only the runtime enviroment programs. The rest of them wont work.

VBScript can also mean virus, I would run a virus scan. www.sarc.com has a free scan you can run.

this only started after i installed mirc, net vampire 4, get right, site finder 2.11

i run xp home edition
any help would be great!

if its is a virus, how do i get rid of it

i have no understanding of VB programs what-so-ever


i got this from my error log

The server {520CCA63-51A5-11D3-9144-00104 BA11C5E} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
