after doing a great search in the net, i've found what causes the pc to hang out when i surf the net. it was the activeX components including macromedia flash. i've disabled those components, and now i can surf the net without any hang out of the system. my question is, how can i fix the activeX componenets so i can enable them and it wont cause the problems they cause before.

May you not need to fix the activeX components. Do you have anti-spyware protection? Your browser may be infected by malicious activeX controls that are causing your browser to hang. If you don not have such protections, try something like spybot S&D, Giant anti spyware, spyware blaster, or some others. The imunization features of these programs can prevent your browser to run bad activeX controls, allowing you to safely run the desired activeX components when required.

All the activeX causes the problem or may it be a specific one? Have you just tried to disable all activex and re-enable one by one to see if there is a specific program? See tools - internet options - programs - manage add-ons. If you can't find what specific program is causing your problem in order to replace it or disable it, it may be necessary to try uninstall and re-install internet explorer. If is that the case, try to get help on doing this by searching the forum, or to post another question in the forum... It looks like your subject does not attracted so much attention here... May other subject can atract more people who can help better, without the need to try some deep modifications to your system like to uninstall and re-install IE. Good luck! ;)
