hi all
I'm trying to get my samsung I760 to sync my contacts and calender to my outlook 07. I'm using activesync 4.5 and it sees my pda and connects and as soon as it goes to look for changes I get a crash to desktop (activesync has encountered an error and must shut down) this is my first time useing it so I'm not sure what to do next.

Forgot to tell you I have reinstalled the computer, reinstalled the activesync, and even downloaded the driver for the phone

I've found that by shutting off any virus protection and firewalls when Syncing, any problems are minimized.

good luck

Hi All
thankyou for your help, the event viewer didnt log any crashes, so it got me to thinking that some other wierd problems occured so I concluded that it was a bad windows install and did a reformat and reinstall and now it works
