active x and emails

when trying to paste to an email I get this message in a Microsoft Internet Explorer box.
"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page. As a result, the page may not display correctly."
I just click okay and the email looks fine to me.
However the receiver, who reads the email at work, finds phrases such as:--- ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns => "urn:schemas-microsoft- com:office:office"
and
?xml:namespace prefix = st1ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /
embeded randomly in the text.
Also some times word wrapping has not been applied.
How do i fix this?
