I finally figured out what is causing at least in my case my IE to peg to 100% at all times when I move my mouse and try to scroll while online..I wonder if others are finding this to as well?

I was tweeking my pc to block intrusions and such, and disabling Java scripting was one of the hints. As soon as I disabled active scripting in the IE settings, my cpu stopped pegging to 100%? Now it resides at around 20 to 30 where it should be..

Does anyone know why this was happening and is there a fix for it?

I would like to be able to use scripting as all know sites aren't the same without it!!!

I am running an HP 520N and windows xp home edition.. Also IE 6 not updated... It still does it when I update the IE6 so I choose not to?

Could something be wrong with the JAVA I have?

Thanks
Spankey
