Comment:

Is it possible to add the acronis bootup CD to the image in one DVD?

ie: When restoring acronis image, one has to insert the acronis bootup cd. Then insert the dvd's or cd's of the images. I'd like to add the acronis bootup cd to my images to that I don't have to carry two or more dvd's or even more cd's...

Hi
im not 100% if this is right ..
Acronis true image btw.
from the manual ; "during installation of AT/Image can create an emergency
backup cd image with a standalone version of AT/image with hard disk image (i read this bit x2):/
to create a bootable cd image add the /cdimage=filename.iso to the program run line "

TrueimageOEMPc.exe /silent /cdimage=xyz.iso

AT'i bios lock prevents reinstalls on different build pc's.

TrueimageOEMPc.exe /silent /sysprep

no silent switch =reg key required & no idea if this will require activation but probably, otherwise all sorts of legal stuff would be @ Acronis by now.

You can't do it with ATI directly. You may try to use any third-party software that is intended to work with ISO images. So you need to create an ISO of bootable CD previously created; then somehow include backup archive there and burn it onto DVD.
