Comment:
Every time I turn on my computer I get to the point where Windows should start and I get an error message from Lsass.exe It says something along the lines of "Cannot validate password" and says it's incorrect or something. It then simply restarts the computer. Unfortunately, I cant locate my restore discs. Would they even work if Windows wont open? Ah, any help?

The restore disks would, indeed, get you back up and running. They would restore your PC to the state it was in at time of purchase.

lsass.exe is windows security..this is targeted by a know Trojan..(Troj/Glitch-A)I would say run a dos virus scan for it. if does not repair it you are going to have to run an Windows Xp repair from the cd..
