or an Acer Travelmate 8200. I liked the acer a lot because of its simplicity and power. Do you think you could help me out to buy the most adequate for me around those prices. I'm gonna study engineering so I will be working with programs such as SolidWorks and others that require a good graphics card, and I might consider the computer science field, so I want to get a powerful computer in order to be able to perform different tasks. I really want the ability to multitask. Thanks in advance.Jorge Fernandez

Also I think that you are getting a great deal. Also Get the 7200 100 GB harddrive because it is alot better at multitasking. I know it is a little bit more but you will be able to get to things faster.

You might want to check with the university before you get XP home. The domain and networking problems can be over come by downloading from this url;

For what its worth, I have had nothing but HP laptops, PCs, Printers, and scanners, and have always had great performance. Their tech support is a 10 in my book, and that is what really counts in the end.
