Just use the Recovery CD/DVD's you created when first purchased...
thats the problem, they did'nt give me the cd
Oh dear... Even in the past when they did give one a set... they advised one to make a fresh set - once one has logged on etc. for the first time. You may be able to get a set from Acer; you maybe able to find a set on the www? I found sites various that offered them variously in the past... Enter your make/model number inlcude the words - recovery disks - in google, and hopefully you will find them?
But first have a chat with Acer?
