ACCPAC program doesnt recognise USB printer

Specs: Windows XP Pro SP 2, 1.80Gz

My dad has always been using 2 printers: Seikosha SP-2400 and HP Laserjet 1100 with Accpac and it's been working fine.

Both Seikosha SP-2400 (LPT 1) and HP Laserjet 1100 (LPT 2) were plugged in to the LPT ports by means of a splitter.

Recently he bought a Samsung SCX-4623F usb printer which replaced the HP Laserjet 1100.

However ACCPAC does not recognise the new usb printer. The usb printer is installed perfectly and can print from any other application in Windows, but just not with Accpac.

Details of my dad's system are:

Windows XP Professional Version 2002 SP2
Intel Celeron 1.80 Ghz
896 MB Ram

Please could someone help.

This is more of an application issue than of a Windows XP Issue. Your best chance of getting help is with The Sage Group (http://www.sage.com/) that acquired ACCPAC Accounting Applications
